The alcohol flush reaction, sometimes called the "Asian flush," may or may not be an allergy-related phenomenon. While this Wikipedia article doesn't provide a definitive answer on this topic, I've come to my own (completely unrelated) conclusion: the fact that content can be written and edited by anybody doesn't necessarily guarantee that it can be read by everybody. Unless you have a scientific or medical background, you'll probably find yourself scratching your head from the very first sentence of this article. Don't worry, though -- the scratching is probably not allergy-related.
An interesting article about alcohol flush reaction, but this article really doesn't have anything to do with allergies. It is an interesting read however and if you came here to see if alcohol flush is a type of allergic reaction (which it's not), you'll find the answer that you're looking for in the article.
