Presents the basics of allergies in a few understandable and brief paragraphs. It also has a couple nice sections that give help with the right medications and for making you environment less allergenic.
Certainly an authoritative source, but it makes only scant mention of allergy shots, which are the closest thing to a cure for hay fever. The tips for reducing exposure to airborne allergens, found at the end of the article, are definitely worthwhile.
I good page, but hardly "All about allergies." It really seems to be focused on hay fever rather than the full spectrum of allergic reactions. It mentions that almost anything can be an allergen but says that allergies are rarely life-threatening... which is a little misleading considering that anaphylaxis is a type of allergic reaction, one that can be triggered by any number of allergens.
