I've heard that the neti pots work well, but if you don't have a neti pot, try a can of "Simple Saline." It squirts way up in in your nostrals continuously to clean out your sinuses. Also, my doc has me take a large syringe and clean out my sinuses daily with 0.9% sterile saline solution (which I buy in bulk). I use to be on all the nasal sprays, but now with just keeping my sinuses irrigated, I find I really don't need all that other stuff.
These suggestions work for me. I also suggest using bromelain and vitamin C (or foods rich in these like fresh, raw pineapple and berries). It's also very helpful to change bed linens frequently, especially the pillowcase. I always shower and wash my hair after working outside to get rid of pollens.
