Nobody likes the idea of having to get regular shots for 3-5 years, but allergy shots are a particularly prickly concern for kids. This page does an excellent job of tackling the questions that parents and children may have about allergy shots. Given that immunotherapy is generally safe for kids as young as 4 years old, and given also that the benefits of allergy shots may be even greater for kids than for adults, this is important stuff indeed.

A very simple but extremely educational article about allergy shots. It's geared toward children and allergy shots but the information applies to adults too. This article covers most of what you need to know about the shots including how they help, are they safe, and what the side effects, if any, would be. There is also a very helpful, printable sheet about what to do in the case of an allergic reaction. And there are also tabs on the right side of the page with more helpful information. I found the article to be very beneficial.
