Egads! When I was a kid, I had some pretty bad cases of hives, but I have to admit they paled (no pun intended) in comparison to the pictures on this site. If you're wondering if you have hives, don't just rely on these photos, as they are, by and large, extreme examples. If you read the text on this page, which has more than most people care to know about hives, you'll find that not all hives are red and they don't always join together as the photos seem to imply.
